Domaine Jean Chartron

Since its founding in 1859 by Jean-Edouard Dupard, Domaine Jean Chartron has been managed through five generations of the same family. Nowadays, Jean-Michel and Anne-Laure lead this property, which spans 14.5 hectares of vineyards, producing 23 appellations in some of the best terroirs of Puligny-Montrachet and neighboring villages. Domaine Jean Chartron stands out for its wide range of Premier Cru, Grand Cru, and Village wines. Situated on the lower slope at 353 meters above sea level, Puligny-Montrachet enjoys a unique microclimate with soil rich in clay and sand, providing ideal conditions for producing high-quality wines. The Domaine's vines, averaging 40 years, predominantly cultivate white grape varieties, representing 93% of the total production. Located mainly in the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean Chartron explores different vineyards, from Regional and Village to Prestigious 1er Crus and Grand Crus in the most prestigious terroirs of Burgundy.
